When was the last time their was a non pve guild featured in GOTW? No i dont care about those guilds that balance pvp and pve...i dont see them on the ladder, what i want to see is some top 100 guilds featured in guild of the week. Dont get me wrong i dont hate pve but shouldnt their be a balance between the pve guilds featured and the pvp guilds featured?

Since when is 'not being currently on the top 100' equal to 'PVE guild'? I realize this subtle distinction is possibly lost on you, but I feel compelled to try nonetheless. So if you want to see a top 100 (gvg) guild, my practical suggestion would be to join or make one, and submit the paperwork. My evil twin wants me to add: 'QQ less about Anet hating pvp' though. I do remember reading that the number of guilds applying for that column has gone WAY up, but most don't fill out the paperwork well enough for Anet... lolz.

But its more amusing this way... the current 1 about DVDF has so much bullshit in it its incredible. The typical build of 1 Warrior and an MM to gain agro. Holy crap wish i'd thought of that 1! Or the fact THEY held a town... i do believe that was the ONL alliance, not DVDF. The thing about the titles is laughable too.

There is much more to laugh at when it talks about PvE guilds

The problem is there arent many noticable PvP guilds that stay around long enough to get a nomination.
Most form, reform and disband every month.
Im not saying these ones arent any good or are unworthy it just they dont last long enough to go thru the nomination process.

Only a few long standing ones exist *cough [StP] *cough

PvE guilds are plentiful and last for ages.

Gaile said that they'd post up more PvP guilds, but they have to actually submit applications. And since GOTW is such a big joke, no one does.

Well even if you don't think PvE guilds are worth talking about, you have to give DVDF props for staying so long and the fact that they haven't /ragequitted yet like a lot of PVP guilds have.

It's not like Hard mode is so ridiculously simple. I don't see Legendary Vanquishers everywhere I go, do you?

Does my guild get props? It was formed on May 5th 2005. Personally i think leaders of still active guilds should get some sort of mention.

The only reason DVDF have multiple Leg. Vanquishers is because they have quite alot of active members, many of which are skilled and there was alot of demand for such a thing when Hard Mode first came out. They could fill 2 teams to vanquish Dreadnought's/Lornars, i had to vanquish the damn things with Hero/Henchman. From what i can gather now there isn't much interest in it anymore, helping a DVDF friend out earlier for Poisoned Outcrops there was a whole of 1 other member...

Believe me, Legendary Vanquisher isn't as hard to get as people make it out to be... areas like the Desolation, Jade Brotherhood infested areas, Charr filled areas are the only notable hard areas and thats purely because the mobs are so stupidly overbuffed its not even funny. Hero/Hench are enough to pass most areas without much hastle. The other reason why you don't see it much is because it seems most people who have it are displaying Lightbringer for its bonus or I'm Very Important...

P.S. Ice Imps are the most annoying enemies you will ever fight with hench.

I realize that if your not top 100 it dosnt mean that your a pve guild or that you fail at guild wars. But i would rather have suggestions about pvp given to me by a top guild rather then some other one not saying there bad...the information is more credible its like having a 4 year old try to teach you how to do plastic surgery vs a surgen teaching you. While the for year old may have some good ideas, ideas are more credible coming from the surgen
